Things to do in Vegas for NYE

It’s almost December? Where did the time go? Perhaps you spent your year working, taking care of family, or just getting stuff done. Regardless of what you did with the first 364 days of 2018, we want to make sure you send off the year the right way - LAS VEGAS NEW YEARS EVE STYLE! Food, Fireworks, and of course - parties! Let’s dig in!!

Quick Bites? I thinks yes.

If you’re looking for cheap quick bites before all of the festivities, check out some of our favorite tasty happy hours on the strip.

features $4 beers and bites from 2pm-6pm. Yup, 4 hours of happy. They have homemade bratwurst and a huge variety of beer on tap. Not to mention, the librarian style rolling cart of old school board games to keep you entertained while you chow down. Located at the NYNY Hotel & Casino, in the Park outside of the casino.

Brooklyn Bowl

food, music, dranks! This spot is definitely a must stop. BB is a huge venue located in the Promenade between the Linq and Flamingo casinos with a little something for everybody. They have live music most nights and a wild happy hour! From 6-8pm and 11pm-2am, HALF OFF drinks and appetizers. Wait up. You’re saying I can drink and eat for half the price? Yassssss. That’s exactly what I’m saying.

Estiatorio Milo’s

A bit pricey this one, but!, totally worth it. This white tablecloth, fine dining restaurant and bar has a sick happy hour from 5-7pm, featuring $6 draft beer, $12 greek wine, and $10 apps(usually $15-20). Get your camera ready, Instagram needs to see this! Serving up greek classics in a gourmet, modern style, this spot is sure to please all palettes. (Located at the Cosmopolitan)

It wouldn’t be Vegas NYE without a little (or a lot of) spark. Grab a drink and a check out all that Vegas’s major casinos have to offer as they battle via fireworks displays, throughout the Strip. Views are important, so here are our top three picks for the best spots to check out the show!

#3 - Beer Park

Food, drinks, games, big screen TVs and views. This place is a chill, casual spot to enjoy the festivities. Also! This is by far the best place for people watching. If you didn’t know, the strip will be closed to all vehicle traffic, so at the time of the fireworks, the streets will be flooded with people. Guaranteed, you will see some crazy s#@t. This outdoor (heated) venue is located at the Paris Hotel just above Hexx Restaurant.

#2 - Caesars Palace

Who knows, maybe Ceasar does live here. Only one way to find out - the fireworks viewing party being held in Roman Plaza at the Absinthe Tent. Inside of the heated tent (and for a very low early bird price of $99), you’ll enjoy open bar, hors d’ouvres, and a live DJ set from 10pm-1am. Fancy attire is required though, so make sure you dress to impress!

#1 - The Stratosphere Tower

Did I mention - VIEWS? These are unlike any other, especially on New Years Eve. A party to be reckoned with, the Strat is offering multiple parties with different package options available. Check out the Sky Lounge - located 280 ft. in the air and the entire bar ROTATES (very slowly) - where you’ll get a full 360º view of the entire city and more. On floors 103, 104, and 108, they have DJs, food, and massive parties sure to please. Get your tickets in advance, they sell out every year.

Wanna hit some clubs? We got you covered!

If this were any other night, you would have a bunch of options for bar and club hopping. Vegas New Years is a whole different story. Whether you are on the strip or Downtown, consider trying out a club crawl. You have locals for hosts, who are well trained in everything Vegas, especially nightclubs. Usually, you may wait in a line for 2-3 hours and pay a ridiculous cover charge upwards of $400 (no, seriously), just to get into one club. With the club crawl, you get two pre-game bars, express entry to the nightclub, AND open bar once inside the nightclub. This saves you literally hundreds of dollars and all of the stress of making actual plans (which we know you don’t want to do anyway). For lineups and more information, Click Here. Psssssttttt… just btw, they have lineups that are seeing The Chainsmokers and Dillon Francis up close and personal. For real, for real. Get your tickets here before they sell out.

One more thing - Fremont Street New Years Eve

You can’t talk about Vegas without mentioning the Fremont Street Experience. 1000s of lights, a multitude of bars, street performers, and quick bite food joints make up glorious Fremont street. This is where the locals come to party, and people watch. With eight huge stages set up, live performances from various bands will happen from 6pm throughout the night, and yes, there will be fireworks! If you can get to a rooftop (which is surprisingly easy downtown) - try the parking garages - you will get a view of the downtown and strip fireworks. Perfect for photo ops, or just for enjoying the moment.

Whatever you do, make sure to plan ahead. The strip will be closed to all vehicle traffic, hotel rooms are going to sell out, ticket prices for events will sky rocket, and that store may sell out of those sequined dresses you love to wear on New Years Eve. SO MAKE MOVES! For more info on everything Vegas, or if you have any questions, contact your party specialists at LA Epic Club Crawls or VIP Vegas Club Crawls.
